Review of Wisdom Teeth Removal Under Sedation

Good evening! Today marks exactly one week since my surgery (which lasted 3 hours under sedation) for the complex removal of wisdom teeth. They had not erupted properly and were lying horizontally deep in my jaw, starting to push against my healthy teeth. I had them removed because I plan to get ceramic crowns on all my molars. I specifically looked for a clinic that offers sedation (I am extremely afraid of pain), and these were very complex teeth — deeply embedded and wrapped around nerves. I spent six months searching for a qualified maxillofacial surgeon and finally found one — and I haven’t regretted it for a second. Olga Sergeevna Shekh explained everything thoroughly, told me what to expect and what might happen. I was so scared, but everything went perfectly. I woke up from anesthesia feeling fine — even looked good! The swelling only started on the third day, just as they had said, and it’s now almost gone.

Special thanks to administrator Ekaterina — if she hadn’t explained everything so clearly, I would still be searching. I was in a situation where I urgently needed the extraction, I live far away, and wanted my husband to take me there and back (planning around his work). The clinic accommodated me perfectly and found a time for me within a few days. I am incredibly grateful that such compassionate, truly HUMAN doctors exist. I haven’t once thought about the cost — all I remember is the care and attention I received. Wishing you continued success ❤️
